Desire D40 XT Studio LED Luminaire - Tungsten
ETC Selador Series Desire D40 XT Studio LED Luminaire - Tungsten

Desire Studio Tungsten and Studio Daylight luminaires feature new, all-white Luxeon Rebel Energy Saving LEDs to create more light with less energy. The emitters are balanced evenly to replicate HMI daylight or tungsten fixtures’ light production, while using only 140 watts of power.

ETC crafted the Studio Daylight arrays with a select range of cool white LED emitters, so the luminaires produce a large quantity of daylight white-light without drawing as much power as HMI fixtures. With a color temperature of 5,600K, the Studio Daylight fixtures work well with arc-based automated lighting that already has a high color temperature. Use Studio Daylight luminaires on the set to mimic the beautiful, natural look of daylight.

A stand-in for power-hungry tungsten units at studio applications, Desire Studio Tungsten luminaires combine warm-white emitters to produce stunning, warm-spectrum light. The fixtures use a fraction of the energy needed to run conventional tungsten sources, and can be used wherever you need a fill of warm white color. Outputting a color temperature of 3,200K, Studio Tungsten illuminators can be used alongside tungsten fixtures or replace them completely.

The Desire Studio luminaires give you even more control over your light. All of the fixtures feature an LCD panel at the back that allows you to set different modes of use. You can adjust the settings to work exactly the way you need them to, saving you time.

The simple Studio mode provides simplified operation with no DMX console required, to control intensity, color temperature and tint directly from the luminaire. You can control several units from one fixture with the Master-Slave mode. The simplified DMX profile controls the fixture with three DMX channels: intensity, color temperature and tint. For colored or white light, you can use the adjustable white point to select the right color temperature either locally or via DMX. And the high-efficiency white LEDs produce the greatest amount of white light with the lowest wattage available.
